Edinson Cavani is in no rush to discuss a new contract with Paris Saint-Germain, confessed his agent. "A return to Italy is a possibility, but not in January."
Cavani played in Italy from 2007-2013 with Palermo and later Napoli, before moving to France in the summer of 2013.
Walter Cavani, Edinson's agent and brother, spoke to calcionapoli26.it about the prospect of his brother returning to Italy.
"Yes, there is a possibility. There are contacts, but I have nothing to say now. As for LA Galaxy, there are always rumours, but nothing more."
Cavani's contract with PSG expires in the summer, and his agent says they are in no rush to talk about a renewal.
"We are not preoccupied with a renewal. Edinson will have many opportunities with many sides in Europe when his contract expires. He won't leave in January, though, that is for sure.
"Edi has another three years to play at the highest level and can play for any big club in Europe."
Cavani scored 52 goals for Napoli in 69 games from 2010-13.
