According to the Corriere dello Sport and Tuttosport, joining earlier reports from La Repubblica and the Corriere della Sera, the Arnault family are still in negotiations with Milan owners Elliott Management to purchase the club.

The offer is believed to be from €960m-€1bn, similar to the figures already rumoured in September.

Representatives from Arnault have repeatedly denied any interest in buying AC Milan, including an Instagram post by Antoine Arnault on September 28.

“We have the utmost respect for your beautiful club, its values, its fantastic history, but have never been in contact with anyone from the club, and have never been interested in investing or acquiring it.

“We do not know where this strong rumor has come from, but it has no foundations whatsoever.

“We wish all the best to the AC Milan this season and the next ones. Thank you.”
