The Azzurri set a new all-time record with their 10th consecutive victory, the sixth in a row on their travels, with a 3-0 result at Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we did very well and put in a fine performance,” the Milan goalkeeper told Rai Sport.

“We always believed in ourselves and there is such strong faith running through the team and the coach. We know that we’re a great side and can win them all.

“Of course we can continue this run into Euro 2020. We are a great team and are fully aware that we can have our say against any opponent.

“Let’s take it one game at a time and see what happens.”

The perfect record in qualifying also means Italy are top seeds in the Euro 2020 final tournament draw, which takes place on November 30.
