Napoli forward Dries Mertens limped off during Belgium’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Russia, leaving his club anxious about his condition.
The striker had started the game in Russia and his team was 3-0 up when he was brought down during a promising scoring opportunity.
He tried to continue, but quickly realised he had to come off at the 52nd minute.
It remains to be seen how bad the injury is, as Napoli have very big games coming up against Milan in Serie A and Liverpool in the Champions League.
Local media report he had a knock to the head too and simply went off as a precaution.
Inter hitman Romelu Lukaku was also on target for Belgium, with Eden Hazard’s brace and a goal for his brother Thorgan in the 4-1 victory.
