Barcelona director Eric Abidal confirms they are tracking Inter striker Lautaro Martinez. "He is a complete player and we know of his quality."
The Argentine scored against Barcelona earlier in the season in the Champions League, and this seems to have caught the eye of the Blaugrana.
The Spanish champions are searching for a striker to replace Luis Suarez, who will be 33 years old by the end of the season, and Martinez is thought to be amongst the top names to replace him.
In an interview with Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, Abidal says that the Inter striker is one of a number of forwards the club is tracking.
"He [Martinez] is a complete player. I think he's playing at a very good level. He is a player we are aware of and we know of his quality, but there are also other players with these same characteristics."
Martinez has scored eight goals in 16 games for the Nerazzurri this season and already plays alongside Lionel Messi for Argentina.
