Oriali credits Roberto Mancini with bringing enthusiasm back to the Azzurri following the Giampiero Ventura era.

"After winning in Bosnia and becoming top seeds, we want to end on a high with a 100 per cent record,” Oriali told Rai Sport.

"We have players who have settled in very well and the coach has done a great job in seeking out prospective young talents who give Italy more choice than perhaps we had in the past.

“This enthusiasm has been revived around the Nazionale and Mancini has been behind it. I remember when I went to visit his home with Billy Costacurta to ask if he wanted to be our new CT and from the start it was clear he’d be great."

Italy finish the group with tonight's game against Armenia and so far have nine wins out of nine.
