Nicolò Zaniolo has become Roma's youngest ever goal-scorer for Italy, beating Daniele De Rossi's record.

Zaniolo scored in the ninth minute in Palermo during this evening's final Euro 2020 qualifier against Armenia.

It means he has now become Roma's youngest ever goal scorer for Italy, overtaking icon Daniele De Rossi.

De Rossi was 21 years and 42 days old when he scored for Italy against Norway in a 2006 World Cup qualifier, coincidentally also in Palermo.
