Juventus could be without Adrien Rabiot on Saturday after the midfielder suffered a thigh injury, but Blaise Matuidi has made a full recovery.

Juve confirmed on their official website that Rabiot trained “only partially” with the squad due to “a slight strain” in his left adductor muscle.

The Frenchman has played nine times for the Old Lady since arriving on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, but only four of those appearances have been starts.

However, the same cannot be said for countryman Matuidi, who missed the international break with a rib fracture.

Instead, the 32-year-old completed Wednesday’s workout and is therefore in contention to face Atalanta this weekend.

Elsewhere, doubts remain over Miralem Pjanic, who trained “only partially”, while Cristiano Ronaldo “did custom work” after his goalscoring exploits for Portugal.
