Mario Balotelli left Brescia training early this afternoon, fuelling speculation of a bust-up with coach Fabio Grosso.
Balotelli was brought off at half-time by new boss Grosso on his Brescia debut, which ended in a 4-0 home defeat to Torino on November 9.
Now, Gazzetta dello Sport cites local reports which speak of possible tension between the two men during training on Thursday.
“Mario, go,” the World Cup winner is said to have told the striker, who would have then left an hour into the session.
Although the club denies tempers boiled over, the 29-year-old was described as being “very angry”.
It now remains to be seen whether Balotelli will face Roma on Sunday or even travel to the Olimpico.
