Fonseca will have Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Nikola Kalinic back in his ranks, but both are expected to start on the bench for the Giallorossi. Alessandro Florenzi and Javier Pastore remain sidelined.

Ünder, on the other hand, is expected to get the nod in his native country and might be combined with Lorenzo Pellegrini and Nicolò Zaniolo in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

Amadou Diawara and Jordan Veretout are expected to play in the middle of the park, with Spinazzola at the right-back and Aleksandar Kolarov to the left of the defence.

The former Inter star Okan Buruk will most likely turn up in a 4-1-4-1 formation and the leaders will have both quality on and off the pitch.

Former Milan player Robinho may start on the bench, next to other big names like Arda Turan and Demba Ba. On the pitch, they are expected to start both Martin Skrtel and Gael Clichy in the defence.

Basaksehir are only one win away from securing a spot in the last 32, as they are top of the group on seven points. Roma and Borussia Mönchengladbach are locked on five points each and Roma may need a win to stay alive after losing in Germany.

Istanbul Basaksehir (probable): Mert; Caicara, Ponck, Skrtel, Clichy; Mehmet; Visca, Azbubuike, Irfan, Gulbrandsen; Crivelli

Roma (probable): Pau Lopez; Spinazzola, Smalling, Mancini, Kolarov; Diawara, Veretout; Ünder, Pellegrini, Zaniolo; Dzeko
