Belgium manager Roberto Martinez isn’t surprised by Romelu Lukaku’s start with Inter. “He’s found some strong team-mates and a great coach in Antonio Conte."
Martinez was speaking after the conclusion of the Euro 2020 draw, and was asked about Lukaku, who has scored 11 goals in 17 games in all competitions for the Nerazzurri this season.
“It’s not a surprise, we know him well, it’s beautiful to see him score for Inter the way he does in the national team," said Martinez.
“At Inter he has found great team-mates and a great coach in Antonio Conte.”
Lukaku reached 250 goals in his career with his strike against Slavia Prague on Wednesday in the Champions Legue.
The Belgian signed for the Nerazzurri from Manchester United for €65m last summer.
