Cristiano Giuntoli insists the environment at Napoli “has never been a problem”, instead putting their poor form down to “injuries and questionable choices”.
Napoli continued their winless run with a 2-1 home defeat to Bologna on Sunday, but Giuntoli is confident they will soon start picking up “the points we deserve”.
“The environment has never been a problem,” the sporting director told Sky Sport Italia. “We need to turn the trend in the League, get the points we deserve and continue our growth.”

The Azzurri are now eight points behind fourth-placed Roma in Serie A, falling further behind in the fight for a place in the Champions League next season.
“It has been a delicate start to the season, with lots of injuries and questionable choices affecting us. We have to do what we’re doing, only better.”
