Guilherme Arana warned he is “evaluating offers” to leave Atalanta just six months into his loan from Sevilla. “I didn’t come here to sit on the bench.”
The 22-year-old Brazilian arrived on loan for €1m with option to buy for a further €8m in late August, but has so far made only four Serie A substitute appearances for a total 75 minutes of football.
“I really can’t explain it, to be honest,” Arana told Estadio Deportivo.
“I understand that there are players ahead of me who are doing well, like Robin Gosens, Hans Hateboer and Timothy Castagne, but I expected to play more than this.
“I didn’t come here to sit on the bench all season. I will talk to my agents and evaluate the offers on the table to find the best solution for my future.
“I’ll think carefully with my family, because I cannot afford to make another bad choice.”
