Yannick Carrasco seemingly thanked and greeted Dalian Yifang on social media ahead of a move back to Europe this winter.
After scoring 17 goals and providing eight assists in the Chinese Super League this season, Carrasco appears ready to return to European shores.
According to Calciomercato.com, his Instagram post was an announcement that he would be leaving Dalian.
“I would have liked to come back for personal reasons,” he was quoted as saying in September.
“It’s not that I don’t like Chinese football, but I would like to return to my family and play in a big championship.”
The former Atletico Madrid winger was said to have been offered to Milan, Inter and Roma last winter, but none of them were prepared to cover his €11m salary.
