Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira posted a Twitter message to reassure fans that his knee operation went smoothly.
The German international has been sidelined for up to three months after going under the knife to fix a knee problem, and the Juve No 6 took to Twitter to reassure Juve fans that the operation went well.
“The operation went perfectly well – thank you all for your messages!
“I’ve already left the hospital and I’m confident that the rehab will be positive.
“As some of you know, people have given up on me many times before, but so far I’ve always came back faster and better than expected.
“I’m looking forward to helping my club soon. Until then, I’ll be the biggest Juve fan.”
Khedira has made 17 appearances for The Old Lady this season, and is expected to return in the spring.
