Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde says the club are happy with Inter transfer target Arturo Vidal, but “we will see what happens in January.”
Vidal has complained recently about a lack of playing time at the Camp Nou. “If I don’t feel important, I will talk to the club in January or next summer.”
Valverde was talking at his press conference ahead of their game against Real Mallorca and did not rule out a move for the Chilean.
“Vidal is our player. We are happy with him. There are so many rumours. We will see tomorrow if he plays or not.
“And when the January transfer window arrives, we will see what happens.”
Vidal has been constantly linked with a return to Serie A and a reunion with Inter coach Antonio Conte.
The midfielder played under Conte for three years, from 2011 to 2014, and the pair won three consecutive Scudetti together at Juventus.
Vidal would leave Turin a year after Conte, joining Bayern Munich for €37.5m.
