Roma are ready to swoop for Giacomo Bonaventura as a free agent, it’s reported, as his Milan contract is running down.
The versatile midfielder is still only 30 years old, but has barely played for 18 months due to various injury setbacks.
He seems to be fully recovered now and scored a decisive equaliser against Napoli.
Bonaventura’s contract with Milan is due to expire at the end of this season and no agreement has been reached on a new deal.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Roma are keeping a close eye on the situation and are ready to pounce on ‘Jack’ as a free agent over the summer.
Milan purchased Bonaventura from Atalanta in 2014 for €7m.
