Roma risk ending the year without Chris Smalling and Lorenzo Pellegrini after the pair suffered fresh injuries.
Roma released a medical report on Tuesday afternoon, which revealed Smalling suffered bruising and a knock to his left knee.
Pellegrini, on the other hand, sustained bruising to his left foot.
The pair will undergo more tests later today, but Calciomercato.com already warns the Manchester United loanee is facing “weeks” out and will therefore only return in the New Year.
