Napoli director Cristiano Giuntoli refused to confirm or deny rumours tonight’s game with Genk will be Carlo Ancelotti’s last at the club.
It kicks off at 17.55 GMT, click here for the line-ups and LIVEBLOG.
Giuntoli was asked specifically about Ancelotti and refused to answer any questions on the future of the coach or reports he could be replaced by Gennaro Gattuso tomorrow.
“I don’t want to talk about it. We have such a very important game tonight, we want to achieve something historic and need to focus only on that this evening,” the director told Sky Sport Italia.
A point is enough to secure their passage to the Champions League Round of 16, including the possibility of ending their group phase unbeaten for the first time.
“To be honest, I just wanted to talk about the game. This is a very important achievement for us, it can relaunch us in Serie A too.
“It is a delicate build-up to the match, the lads are highly-motivated and I don’t think they will back out today.”
Instead, Giuntoli was asked about the Genk side that is lining up at the Stadio San Paolo.
“We thought Paul Onuachu was injured, but he provides some different options and they have changed to a more attack-minded coach since we last faced them. They might pass it over the midfield to avoid our pressing game.”
