La Repubblica reports Rino could have slipped from the hands of Partenopei President Aurelio De Laurentiis.

That is because, as per the newspaper, he refused offers from 18 other clubs, among them Valencia, Genoa and Sampdoria, while Fiorentina “thought about him”.

Gattuso, who was unveiled yesterday, will make his Serie A bow for Napoli against Parma this weekend.
