Fernando Llorente has reportedly appeared on Antonio Conte’s radar at Inter, with the Spanish striker possibly on his way out of Napoli.
Gennaro Gattuso was appointed Napoli’s new coach yesterday and, according to Tuttosport, it could mean Llorente’s days are numbered at the San Paolo.
As per the newspaper, the 34-year-old could seek pastures new as early as next month, alerting the Inter boss to his signature.
The two worked together at Juventus during Conte’s spell as coach in Turin, and the report states he is keeping an eye on the hitman’s situation down south.
Inter are looking for a new forward to lift the pressure off Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez, with Alexis Sanchez out injured and not expected back in training until mid-January.
Llorente has started just three times in Serie A this season, although he has managed three goals in his 13 apperances for the Partenopei.
He has also netted once in the Champions League, helping Napoli secure a last-16 place.
