Parma coach Roberto D'Aversa agrees Gennaro Gattuso will use a 4-3-3 formation at Napoli and expects Lorenzo Insigne to feature.
Napoli host Parma in Serie A tomorrow and D’Aversa feels Gattuso will make changes at the San Paolo, among them Insigne back out wide in an attacking trident.
“I think they’ll play a 4-3-3,” he said at a press conference.
“We have thought about ourselves and studied their characteristics. The coach will make decisions.
“Insigne will play, there’s a doubt about who’s on the right. It will be a difficult game, at a stadium with a lot of enthusiasm.
“We have the ambition to challenge a great team.”
Roberto Inglese has missed eight matches for the Ducali, but D’Aversa is confident he will have the ex-Partenopei hitman back before the holidays.
“Both [Matteo] Scozzarella and [Juraj] Kucka are not with us, they will stay in Parma to work there.
“The medical staff are working on Inglese to make him available for the game before the holidays.
“We hope to recover as many players as possible. I have more doubts now compared to earlier because the guys are doing well.
“I have some doubts this week.”
