Bartlomiej Dragowski says Fiorentina “aren’t afraid” of Inter and that they will be playing to keep Vincenzo Montella in charge.

The two sides face off at the Artemio Franchi on Sunday, in arguably the pick of Serie A games this weekend, and Dragowski made it clear Fiorentina were still behind Montella despite their run of defeats.

“This is a difficult moment, we have to start over because none of us are happy after four straight defeats,” the goalkeeper told Sky Sport Italia.

“This is a difficult moment, we have to start over because none of us are happy after four straight defeats,” the goalkeeper told Sky Sport Italia.

“We have to do something different, we want to overcome this crisis.

“Now we play against Inter, who are a strong team, but we aren’t afraid of them.

“We know they are top of the table and, if they continue to play like they have been, they will stay ahead of the rest.

“We will give everything on the pitch and we will give everything to win this game, also for [Vincenzo] Montella.”

Franck Ribery had ankle surgery today and is facing an extended spell on the sidelines, but the Pole feels he can still help the Viola off the pitch.

“Ribery is a player who makes the difference on the pitch. Now I need to make a difference. He will help us, even though he can’t play.”

Fiorentina are 13th in Serie A, without a win in the League beating Sassuolo 2-1 two months ago.
