The Giallorossi played a 2-2 draw with Wolfsberg in the Europa League on Thursday, which allowed them to reach the Round of 32, but only as group runners-up.

“I don’t want to talk about the Wolfsberg game. I didn’t like the attitude and I talked to the players about that, but it ends there. We’ve always had a strong attitude this season, except for the games against Sampdoria and Wolfsberg.

“I expect us to play with the right approach tomorrow. I don’t need any extra support from the club, it was a blip and we discussed it with the squad.”

Fonseca confirmed Justin Kluivert is still not fully fit, out of action with Chris Smalling, Davide Santon, Davide Zappacosta, Antonio Mirante, Javier Pastore and Bryan Cristante.

Gianluca Mancini is also suspended, so Fonseca confirmed either Juan Jesus or Mert Cetin “will certainly play” in defence.

Roma squad for SPAL: Pau Lopez, Cardinali, Fuzato, Juan Jesus, Kolarov, Cetin, Fazio, Florenzi, Spinazzola, Pellegrini, Perotti, Veretout, Zaniolo, Diawara, Mkhitaryan, Dzeko, Cengiz Under, Kalinic, Antonucci
