Barcelona director Guillermo Amor accepts Napoli are “complicated” opponents as “would be disrespectful to say one is easier than the other.”
Barca were handed a last-16 tie with Napoli in the Champions League, and their former Atalanta midfielder was ignoring the Partenopei’s poor domestic form.
“All the matches are complicated, we knew who could be drawn against,” Amor told Movistar+.
“It would be disrespectful to say that one is easier than the other, perhaps you like one and I like another.
“They are complicated opponents; they have recently changed their coach. [Gennaro] Gattuso has replaced a heavyweight coach like [Carlo] Ancelotti.
“We go there with the idea of getting a good result and returning to Barcelona to close the tie.”
He added the Catalans would not be affected by the atmosphere at the San Paolo, claiming they “prefer” a noisy stadium.
“I have always said that it’s preferable to play in a full stadium, a noisy one.
“The players prefer that to a cold stadium, even if the noise is against them.”
