Inter are considering an approach for Manchester United midfielder Nemanja Matic in January, according to The Telegraph.
Inter signed Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez from the English side last summer, and they might go back once more for the Serbian midfielder.
Antonio Conte has repeatedly demanded reinforcements, especially in midfield where the absences of Nicolo Barella and Stefano Sensi have been keenly felt.
The Telegraph states that Inter could be prepared to sign Matic in the winter transfer window.
The 31-year-old has 18 months left on his contract, and has fallen out of favour with United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Matic has struggled with a groin injury and last week’s start against AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League was his first in two months.
Conte worked with Matic at Chelsea, where they won the Premier League together in 2016-17.
