Inter have stepped up negotiations with Atalanta over a summer deal for Parma starlet Dejan Kulusevski.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports executives from both Inter and Atalanta met on Wednesday to discuss a transfer.
It is understood Antonio Conte’s side want to secure the 19-year-old for next season and believe holding talks now will help them beat the competition.
As for a fee, Di Marzio writes €35m should be enough to tie up the midfielder but warns that is providing no-one else comes in with a better offer this winter.
Kulusevski has been a breakout talent in Serie A this season with four goals and six assists for Parma, where he is on loan this term.
He has also been linked with several Premier League sides, including Manchester United and Arsenal.
