It kicks off at 17.00 GMT, click here for a match preview.
According to Uruguayan paper La Prensa, Diego Lopez has agreed terms with Genoa and will be presented to the media on December 27.
The 45-year-old coach had until recently been in charge of Penarol, but his contract expires this month.
He spent most of his management career in Italy with Cagliari, Bologna and Palermo.
Thiago Motta is known to be hanging by a thread following two wins, three draws and four defeats.
He only replaced Aurelio Andreazzoli on October 22, so this would be Genoa’s third coach and we’re not even half-way through the season.
