The robbery occurred when the 33-year-old Argentine was in a training retreat ahead of tonight's game with SPAL, while his wife and three children were out at the time.

The robbery occurred when the 33-year-old Argentine was in a training retreat ahead of tonight's game with SPAL, while his wife and three children were out at the time.

“They stole many valuable items like bags, watches, rings, bracelets and other objects that mean a lot to us. It’s not so much the cost, but because only we know how hard we worked to allow ourselves these luxuries,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a video of the aftermath.

Quiero aprovechar a bendecir y a entregar delante De Dios, a las personas que se han metido a mi casa a robarme todo. Me llevaron muchas cosas de valor, como bolsos, valijas, relojes, anillos, brazaletes y más cosas que tenían un valor para nosotros, no por el costo en si, sino porque solo nosotros sabemos lo que cuesta comprarse cada cosa. Pero más allá del disgusto, quiero agradecer a Dios por guardar a mi familia, de saber que no había nadie en ese momento, por saber de que El sigue teniendo el control de todo. Y eso me trae paz. Pero nuevamente quiero entregar estas vidas que han hecho esto, en tus manos Señor, para que los perdones y para que ellos puedan conocerte en algún momento.
