“We’ve made too many mistakes, and we are paying for them,” said Liverani in his press conference.
The Salentini had a good October and November, losing only once, and Liverani believes his team became complacent.
“My reading of the situation is that as long as we were in the relegation zone, the team had good approach to games. However when we started to pull away from the bottom of the table, this caused a different attitude.
“I hope this week we can recharge. I would like to find my team again, with its personality.”
Liverani also confirms that they will sign players in January.
“It has been agreed with the club. We have many difficulties at the moment, but one of the best things is the relationship between me, [Mauro] Meluso and the club.
“We will sign four or five players.”
