Leandro Paredes assures he is close to reaching 100 per cent with Juventus after a stuttering start and warns they ‘cannot get it wrong’ with Maccabi Haifa this evening.

“We know it is a very important game for us, for the group and to achieve a victory we have been chasing since Paris. We can’t get it wrong again and must do the maximum to achieve the win,” Paredes told Sky Sport Italia.

Max Allegri has continually urged his men to be ‘calm’ and not get too frenetic trying to break down very defensive teams, which could be valuable advice this evening.

Argentina international midfielder Paredes arrived late in the transfer window after securing a loan with obligation to buy from Paris Saint-Germain.
“I am slowly settling in, getting at 100 per cent, as it had been a long time since I’d played this many games. I am getting in shape and hope to give my contribution to the team.”
