Turkish side Besiktas have seen a bid for Torino striker Simone Zaza rejected, claims Tuttosport.

Zaza has been at Torino since the summer of 2018, when he arrived on loan with obligation to buy from Valencia.

However, the former Juventus man has fallen down the pecking order under Walter Mazzarri.

Now, Tuttosport reports Besiktas – known to be in the market for a new No 9 – have tabled an offer of €10m for Zaza.

Now, Tuttosport reports Besiktas – known to be in the market for a new No 9 – have tabled an offer of €10m for Zaza.

However, that has been rejected by the Granata, whose President Urbano Cairo deems the figure to be too low.

It’s unknown at this stage whether the Istanbul outfit will come back with an improved bid.

Zaza is said to also be of interest to several Serie A clubs, including Fiorentina, Sassuolo, SPAL and Bologna.

Tuttosport claims should the 28-year-old leave, Toro would look to replace him with Udinese forward Stefano Okaka.
