'Everton privileged to have Ancelotti'

Dominic Calvert-Lewin says Everton are “privileged” to have Carlo Ancelotti and that it is an “unbelievable time” for the club with him at the helm.

Ancelotti took charge of Everton after he was shown the door by Napoli in mid-December and has gone on to win two of his first three games.

Calvert-Lewin has benefitted hugely from the appointment, already scoring three goals under the former Milan and Real Madrid coach.

“He is one of biggest managers in the world and as a young kid growing up you saw him on TV working at some of biggest clubs,” the England Under-21 striker told Match of the Day.

“He has a presence about him. That is just from the man he is and what he has done in football.

“To be working with him on a daily basis is a privilege.”

“To have a manager to have done what he has done in the game, you can't be anything but excited.

“It is an unbelievable time to be an Everton fan and an Everton player. I am looking forward to what the future holds.”
