Roma striker Nikola Kalinic has rejected the chance to join Newcastle United after previously turning down moves to Genoa and Verona.
The Croat is on loan at the Giallorossi from Spanish side Atletico Madrid but hasn’t made much of an impact in the capital.
Now, Tuttomercatoweb reports Kalinic has rejected an offer from Premier League side Newcastle and wants to stay at Roma.
It comes on the heels of the 31-year-old rebuffing proposals from Verona and Genoa, as per Corriere dello Sport.
Kalinic broke his fibula against former side Milan in October, and that has limited his playing time.
It's reported the capital club would like to move the forward on and bring in Real Madrid outcast Mariano Diaz as his replacement.
Kalinic has made only six appearances for Roma in all competitions this season, without scoring a goal.
