Roma midfielder Bryan Cristante has signed a contract extension until June 2027.

The Giallorossi have confirmed Cristante’s new deal with an official statement on Monday.

“AS Roma is delighted to announce that Bryan Cristante has agreed terms on a new contract until 30 June 2027,” said the Giallorossi.

“Roma has become my second family,” the Italy international told the club’s official website.

“I wanted to sign a new contract and I’m really happy now that it’s done. I’d like to thank the owners and the club for this extension. I’ve been here a few years now and had the privilege of witnessing the progress made by the team and the club first-hand.

“I’ll carry on giving my all for the Giallorossi colours and for our fans – they’re very demanding but they give back more than they ask for.”

Roma director Tiago Pinto also commented on Cristante’s extension: “We are thrilled to be able to announce this contract renewal. Cristante has improved year on year and thoroughly deserved everything he has achieved, including the trophies he has won with Italy and Roma,” said the Portuguese.

“Bryan has always put Roma’s best interests before anything else and represents many of the key values we want to pass on to our younger players like professionalism and courage.”
