Chelsea boss Frank Lampard admits Olivier Giroud could join Inter this month. “If it’s right for everybody, then we’ll look at whether he can leave the club.”

Giroud has been linked with Inter for a number of weeks, given boss Antonio Conte is desperate for more strikers to ease the pressure on Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.

The Frenchman is believed to want out of Chelsea as he looks to secure more first team football, with Euro 2020 on the horizon.

“With Ollie the situation is, if it's right for everybody, and first and foremost that's us as the club, then we'll look at whether he can leave the club,” Lampard said at a press conference.

“He's been a great professional here, who has continued to train professionally without many opportunities.

“But I still have to make a decision for the football club, and nothing's done yet.”

It’s believed that the Blues are demanding between €8-10m for the 33-year-old, but the club icon maintains nothing has been settled with the Nerazzurri.

“Everyone's talking about it so I'm not going to beat around the bush.

“I think his agent has spoken to the club, but until anything's done he's a Chelsea player.”

Sky Sport Italia reported earlier that Giroud had agreed terms on a two-and-a-half year contract with Inter.
