Atalanta defender Simon Kjaer could undergo a medical with Milan tomorrow as Aston Villa finally clinch a deal for goalkeeper Pepe Reina.
Calciomercato.com reports Milan have now agreed to take Kjaer on loan until the end of the season from Sevilla with an option to buy.
Sky Sport Italia adds he could make the short trip to San Siro from Bergamo as early as Saturday for medical tests, with the Rossoneri keen to have him available for next week’s Coppa Italia tie against SPAL.
As for Reina, Sky and Gazzetta dello Sport assure he is all set for Villa after a loan with option to buy was agreed between the two clubs on Friday.
The 37-year-old is expected in England on Monday for a medical, but Emiliano Viviano seems to have been shelved as a replacement.
As per Sky, the Diavolo are weighing up “2-3” foreign options to replace the Spaniard.
Among them, reports MilanNews.it, is former Torino man Joe Hart, who has been offered to the club.
Hart, who spent the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Toro, would be prepared to move on a deal until the summer, having fallen out of favour at Burnley.
