Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta will reportedly be left out of tonight’s Coppa Italia clash against SPAL, amidst speculation that he could leave the Rossoneri this month.
The Brazilian signed from Flamengo last January, and immediately took to life in Serie A.
However he has struggled in his first full season, and hasn’t started for Milan since the 1-1 draw against Napoli in late November, and has barely featured subsequently.
French giants Paris Saint-Germain have been consistently linked with the 22-year-old, but the BBC report that the Italian side are demanding between €30-35m for Paqueta, and thus far no one is willing to offer that amount.
The Rossoneri paid €35m for Paqueta a year ago, so would like to recoup their money from an eventual transfer.
His last appearance was in the 0-0 draw against Sampdoria, in which he played only five minutes.
