Brescia have reportedly secured the signature of Birkir Bjarnason, who is scheduled for a medical tomorrow morning.
The Iceland international will return to Italy after four and a half years and spells at FC Basel, Aston Villa and Al Arabi.
After being released by Aston Villa last summer, the 31-year-old travelled to Qatar on a three-month contract and played three games in the Qatar Stars League.
Now, he is set to complete a transfer to Brescia, but Tuttomercatoweb also claims that Genoa are sitting on the fence, watching the situation closely.
If everything goes as planned, the report claims Bjarnason will sign a deal after his medical scheduled at 09:00 GMT tomorrow.
Bjarnason har previously played for Pescara and Sampdoria and combined he has collected 38 matches in Serie A.
