Ashley Young is officially a new Inter player after completing his transfer from Manchester United.

It’s a six-month contract to June 2020, with option to extend for a further season.

He has chosen to wear shirt Number 15 at San Siro.

The 34-year-old England international flew in to Milan this morning, confirming to reporters it was his first time in the city, and completed a set of medical tests before signing the contract.

His deal with Manchester United had been due to expire in June, so he was available for just a €1.5m fee.

Young had 18 competitive appearances for Manchester United this season and was their captain.

Antonio Conte reportedly hopes to have the new signing in his squad for Sunday’s Serie A trip to Lecce.
