No fracture for Alex Sandro

Alex Sandro has not suffered any rib fractures, confirmed Juventus, but remains unlikely to face Roma in the Coppa Italia.

The full-back came off just 20 minutes into last night’s 2-1 Serie A victory over Parma in Turin.

It’s reported he had a knock to the ribs and was struggling to breathe, so asked to be substituted.

X-Rays at the J-Medical centre this morning showed no fractures, read a statement, but his condition will be evaluated on a daily basis.

This suggests Alex Sandro is likely to miss Wednesday’s Coppa Italia quarter-final against Roma.

It remains to be seen if he’ll be passed fit for the Sunday Serie A clash with Napoli.
