Manchester United are lining up a bid for Inter midfielder Matias Vecino, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The English side are in the market for a new midfielder with Paul Pogba and Scott McTominay out with long-term injuries.
They’ve also been linked with Sporting CP’s Bruno Fernandes, but so far a deal hasn’t been concluded.
Sky Sport Italia claim The Red Devil’s hunt for a midfielder has taken them in the direction of Uruguayan Vecino.
The two clubs have already done business this transfer window, as Ashley Young joined the Nerazzurri for €1.5m.
Vecino has been in and out of boss Antonio Conte’s starting XI this season, but isn’t considered a first choice option.
The former Fiorentina player has made 14 appearances in Serie A this season.
It’s unclear if Inter will let the 28-year-old leave in January, but should Christian Eriksen arrive from Tottenham, then Vecino may be surplus to requirements.
