Tottenham coach Jose Mourinho has decided to include Inter target Christian Eriksen in the matchday squad against Norwich tomorrow.
The reports in Italy have claimed that Eriksen’s agent has met with Spurs to sort out a deal with Inter today, but the Portuguese tactician has decided to involve the Denmark international when they play the Canaries in London on Wednesday.
He seemed to point his fingers at Inter when he was addressed about the transfer market and Eriksen’s proposed move to the Nerazzurri.
“I can tell you it is great news for you, because everyday is a wonderful day,” he said at a press conference ahead of the game. “I have to say amazing work, people get addicted to the screens, because it’s amazing. But for us, we are very poor on news.
“We are poor for two reasons: one because we are not buying a player every day and second because I’m the kind of guy who refuses to speak about players from other clubs, which some managers are happy to do.
“I don’t do it, so any name you will throw at me, I will say that player belongs to club A, B or C. I don’t talk about players from club A, B or C.
“And in relation to Christian, the answer is not good for you. But that is the answer, and the answer is that he is selected for tomorrow.”
