Parma director of sport Daniele Faggiano has ruled out a move for Napoli striker Fernando Llorente. “He costs too much.”
The Gialloblu are on the lookout for a striker after it was revealed that Roberto Inglese will be out for the next several months through an injury sustained in last week's 2-1 defeat against Juventus.
“We’ve had no contact with[Cristiano] Giuntoli for Fernando Llorente. We have to look at the balance sheet and our coffers,” Faggiano told Radio station Punto Nuovo.
“I’m sorry for Roberto Inglese, especially after last season’s injury, it’s bad luck.
“He’ll come back stronger than ever.”
Llorente has been linked with a move to Inter and a possible reunion with Antonio Conte, who coached the striker whilst the pair were together at Juventus in 2013-14.
