Official: RB Leipzig sign Dani Olmo

RB Leipzig have officially completed the signing of Dani Olmo from Dinamo Zagreb, beating Milan to the player.

The Spaniard has been constantly linked to the Rossoneri, however it was soon revealed that the Italian side wouldn’t meet Zagreb’s asking price for the midfielder.

Milan reportedly offered in the region of €24m, this figure wasn’t enough to satisfy the Croatian champions.

It’s rumoured his agents wanted an extra €10m between commission and signing-on fee.

German side Leipzig then intercepted talks and eventually won the race to sign Olmo.

The Bundesliga outfit will pay €35m for Olmo, with the player earning a contract of €2.5m a season until June 2024.
