Milan have announced that Serie A have agreed to let them wear the black armband in memory of Kobe Bryant against Torino in the Coppa Italia tonight.
The Rossoneri are set to pay tribute to the basketball hero and have now announced that they received approval to do so by Lega A.
There will be a minute silence before kick-off at San Siro tonight, when Torino arrive to fight for a place in the semi-finals of the tournament.
“In agreement with Serie A, tonight Milan will wear the black armband in memory of Kobe Bryant, who died in a tragic helicopter crash with his daughter Gianna Maria and seven other victims” Milan wrote on their official Twitter account. “San Siro will also pay a tribute just a few minutes away from kick-off.”
