Fiorentina have increased their offer for Verona midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Amrabat had been linked with a move to Napoli, and it was thought that the deal had been agreed.
However the Partenopei moved on to other targets, signing Diego Demme, Stanislav Lobotka and Matteo Politano.
It was reported some days ago that Fiorentina had equalled Napoli’s €15m offer for the Moroccan.
La Gazzetta journalist Nicolo Schira states that the Viola have now raised their offer, with the new bid believed to be €18m plus €2m in bonuses.
Schira suggests that the Tuscan club will now meet with the player in order to convince Amrabat to join them in the summer.
Napoli have reportedly offered €2.1m in wages per season.
