Fiorentina are working on deals to sign Genoa’s Christian Kouame and Sassuolo’s Alfred Duncan, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Kouame is currently out with a knee injury sustained for Ivory Coast’s U-23 side against South Africa in November.
Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia states that the Viola have opened talks with Genoa over buying the striker. The 22-year-old is out of action until May, and Fiorentina will reportedly want the player to undergo a rigorous medical ahead of transfer for next season.
Di Marzio also suggests that the Tuscan outfit are also working on a deal to bring Duncan to Florence.
A meeting between the two clubs is scheduled in the next several hours and it’s believed that a deal could be agreed upon today.
The deal, if completed, would be to take the former Inter midfielder to Tuscany immediately, rather than for next season.
Alfredo Pedulla of SportItalia meanwhile suggests that the Viola have tabled a €15m plus €1m bonus offer for Duncan.
