Fiorentina have officially signed SPAL defender Igor, and the 21-year-old called it “a dream come true.”

The Brazilian defender only joined the Ferrara side from RB Salzburg last summer, but has been snapped up by the Viola on loan for the remainder of the season.

“I have no words to describe this moment, it has been six months that will remain forever in my life and in my career,” Igor stated on Instagram.

“I have learned a lot and made great friends, I have tried to always give my best for the shirt.

In light of the Igor deal, Fiorentina have now let youngster Luca Ranieri leave on loan to Ascoli for the second half of the Serie B season.
