Francesco Caputo was annoyed he didn’t complete the hat-trick against Roma, but assured “when Sassuolo really click, there’s no stopping us.”

The Neroverdi were 3-0 up after 30 minutes and eventually won 4-2 at the Mapei Stadium.

“We proved that we are  a great team with enormous potential, who can put into practice what we do in training during the week,” Caputo told DAZN.

“We proved that we are  a great team with enormous potential, who can put into practice what we do in training during the week,” Caputo told DAZN.

“It was not easy, as Roma are very strong, but we played great football and fully deserved the points. It was one of those perfect matches, but we’re unbeaten in three now and have to keep building the confidence.”

Caputo scored his first goals of 2020, a brace, though it could’ve been a hat-trick.

“I know, I got quite annoyed with (Jeremy) Toljan, because he could’ve given me that pass better! It allowed Bruno Peres to get the block.

“I came here this season to give my all and bring my experience to the team. We’ve got so much quality in this squad that when we really click, there’s no stopping us.”
